Department of Basic Science
Branch establishing:
The Basic Sciences Branch in Agriculture and Forestry college was established by the Decision of the Council of Higher Education and Scientific Research as an independent division in 1982. At the beginning of its establishment, the branch had a limited number of teaching staff, but now it has a large number of teaching staff, technicians and a number of scientific laboratories for teaching students.
Branch message:
In addition to their teaching duties, the faculty members of the branch publishing scientific research in their respective fields in addition to participating in scientific conferences inside and outside the country, attending seminars and scientific seminars, and visiting the corresponding Branchs of colleges and other universities. Teaching staff also conduct joint research with other researchers at colleges and other universities. Teaching staff also give regular scientific lectures in the college and lectures at other colleges and universities.
Branch goals:
The Basic Sciences Branch teaches basic science materials to students in all scientific Branchs of the faculty: general chemistry, organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, medical plants, zoology, botany, mathematics, physics, computer science, plant physiology, Arabic and English language.
