College of Tourism

The College of Tourism Sciences, University of Mosul is considered one of the colleges newly formed under the Ministerial Order No. 3/3/7229, issued on 10 /10. 2018. It was established as a wise scientific initiative to add an important specialization to the Iraqi universities associated with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

It is consist of two scientific departments: Tourism and Hotel Management Departments. It has been joined by a group of the finest students, who have been centrally admitted, as well as a group of top ten students in Tourism institutes, who wish to develop their skills and abilities in Tourism and Hotel Management.

Through its vision, the College of Tourism Sciences seeks to achieve quality, excellence, creativity and a high position in higher education through graduating specialized cadres in various tourism and hotel areas to meet the requirements of the labour market such as qualified human resources to improve the reality of tourism and hotel.

Its scientific mission is based on continuous improvement of the educational process in its two departments, Tourism and Hotel Management through applying knowledge and skills in modern science tourism to support its vision and fulfil its strategic aims.
