\nThe Department of Accounting held a scientific workshop entitled
\n“The Future of Cost Accounting: New Trends in the Business World” on Tuesday, 22\/10\/2024 at ten in the morning, in Discussion Room No. (2), and the workshop included the following axes:
\nThe name of the researcher is the title of the axis.
\n1- Prof. Ziad Hashem Yahya The impact of information technology on cost accounting systems.
\n2- Assoc. Prof. Muthanna Faleh Badr, Cost Accounting Models in the Digital Age.
\n3- Assoc. Prof. Ali Hazem Younis The use of the ABC system in the big data environment.
\n4- Dr. Salem Khalil Khaled Cost accounting in the virtual world.
\n5- Prof. Nada Abdul Razzaq Suleiman The use of big data in preparing budgets.
\n6- Prof. Intisar Saber Nouri, Cost Reduction Techniques in Light of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.<\/p>\n

The workshop aimed to shed light on the concept of cost accounting and its impact on the market in light of the large business world, as cost accounting is an important method in business management that helps determine the cost of production, determine the selling price, and provides valuable information for making informed decisions in the future.<\/p>\n
