With the nomination of the International Labor Organization and under the guidance of Professor Dr. Thaeir Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman, Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Assistant Professor Dr. Ibrahim Adeeb Al-Jalabi was sent to participate in the \u201cStart and Improve Your Business\u201d (SIYB) Trainer Training Program, which is organized by the organization in Erbil from February 16 to 26, 2025.<\/p>\n

The program aims to prepare specialized trainers to support entrepreneurs, especially owners of small and medium enterprises, whether they have existing projects or ideas for entrepreneurial projects. Representatives from the Universities of Mosul, Nineveh, and the Northern Technical University participate in the program, in addition to representatives from the Central Bank of Iraq, the Ministry of Trade\/Private Sector Development Department, private banks, and Iraqi civil society organizations.<\/p>\n

After completing the program, the trainers will train entrepreneurs in their governorates, with the aim of strengthening the role of the private sector and creating decent job opportunities for the unemployed, especially young people and university graduates, thus contributing to the development of the national economy and enhancing the business environment in Iraq.<\/p>\n
