As part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s efforts to promote academic and cultural exchange through the \u201cStudy in Iraq\u201d program\u2014aimed at attracting Arab and international students\u2014Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jameel, Dean of the College of Administration and Economics \u2013 University of Mosul, welcomed a number of international students admitted to the college under this distinguished program, on Monday, June 23, 2025.<\/p>\n

During the meeting, the Dean reaffirmed the college\u2019s commitment to providing a comprehensive academic environment, including suitable accommodation, academic care, and both financial and moral support\u2014strengthening the University of Mosul\u2019s position as a prominent academic destination at the regional and Arab levels.<\/p>\n

As a gesture of the college’s dedication to overcoming potential challenges faced by these students, the Dean also offered direct financial support during the meeting. He was accompanied by Assistant Professor Dr. Haitham Hashem Al-Khaffaf, Director of the University\u2019s Department of Student Housing.<\/p>\n

The meeting included a warm welcome to students arriving from Yemen and Syria:<\/p>\n

Marwan Khaled Omar Mohammed \u2013 First-year undergraduate student, Department of Marketing Management \u2013 Republic of Yemen<\/p>\n

Adnan Anmar Adnan Khaddour \u2013 First-year undergraduate student, Department of Financial and Banking Sciences \u2013 Syrian Arab Republic<\/p>\n

This initiative reflects the college\u2019s vision in supporting international students, fostering values of diversity and openness, and promoting the university\u2019s role as a bridge for academic and cultural exchange between nations.<\/p>\n
