The Department of Management Information at the College of Administration and Economics \/ University of Mosul, held on Thursday, September 11, 2025, in Discussion Hall No. (1), a master\u2019s thesis defense for the student Munhel Zuhair Saleh Al-Abdali, entitled: \u201cThe Impact of Social Media Addiction on the Performance of Knowledge Workers: A Survey Study of the Opinions of a Sample of Korek Telecom Employees in Iraq.\u201d<\/p>\n

The study aimed to shed light on the phenomenon of social media addiction and to analyze its causes and motives, in addition to building a comprehensive knowledge framework that clarifies the fundamental concepts of knowledge workers\u2019 performance.<\/p>\n

The findings revealed that social media addiction does not affect all dimensions of knowledge workers\u2019 performance, except for productivity, which was found to be negatively and significantly impacted.<\/p>\n
