The Department of Industrial Management at the College of Administration and Economics \u2013 University of Mosul held on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, in Discussion Hall No. (1), the defense of the Higher Diploma thesis titled: \u201cThe Impact of Reducing Environmental Pollutants on Enhancing Environmental Sustainability.\u201d<\/p>\n

The study, submitted by the student Hamza Yasser Adel, aims to identify the level to which the university under study is exposed to dimensions of environmental pollution and environmental sustainability, analyze their current state, and then provide applicable recommendations and proposals that contribute to improving the campus environment and raising its level of sustainability.<\/p>\n

The study concluded that various types of environmental pollutants (air, water, food, and soil) are among the most serious challenges threatening public health and quality of life. Their accumulation within the university environment leads to the deterioration of the local ecosystem and negatively affects the performance of students and staff.<\/p>\n

The discussion committee consisted of: Prof. Dr. Maisar Ibrahim Ahmed as a chair, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Talal Ahmed\u00a0 as a member, Lecturer Dr. Ghanem Mahmood Ahmed as member and Asst. Prof. Dr. Amal Sarhan Suleiman as a member and supervisor.<\/p>\n
