The Dean of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jameel, participated on Thursday, 12 February 2026, in the meeting of the Committee of Deans of Colleges of Administration and Economics (specializations in administrative and economic sciences) at Iraqi universities, hosted by the University of Basra, with the attendance of deans from counterpart colleges across Iraqi universities.
\nThe meeting was opened by the President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazem Al-Asadi, who welcomed the deans and emphasized the importance of administrative and economic sciences in supporting development paths. The session was chaired by Professor Dr. Abdulhussein Tawfiq Shibli, Dean of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basra and Head of the Committee of Deans for administrative and economic sciences.
\nThe committee discussed a number of academic and administrative issues, most notably the development of the educational process, the unification of procedures for standardized assessment examinations, and the strengthening of academic coordination among colleges, in line with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
\nThis participation reaffirms the active presence of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul and its leading role in supporting joint institutional work and advancing the level of education in administrative and economic sciences across Iraqi universities.<\/p>\n
