The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul \u2013 Department of Economics, witnessed on Monday, April 27, 2026, in Discussion Hall No. (2), the defense of a Master\u2019s thesis entitled:<\/p>\n

\u201cEstimating the Impact of the Digital Economy on Enhancing International Economic Competitiveness for Selected Countries\u201d<\/p>\n

By the student: Ahmed Ismail Rasheed Al-Hafidh.<\/p>\n

The study aimed to analyze and measure the impact of the digital economy and modern technological developments\u2014particularly artificial intelligence\u2014on enhancing international economic competitiveness in a group of selected countries. This was achieved through the application of modern econometric models to examine the nature of relationships among economic variables.<\/p>\n

Key findings of the study include:<\/p>\n

The economies under study demonstrate a high degree of economic stability and an ability to correct short-term imbalances.<\/p>\n

Technological and innovative factors play a pivotal role in supporting economic stability and enhancing competitiveness.<\/p>\n

There exists a long-run equilibrium relationship between the digital economy and international economic competitiveness, reflecting these economies\u2019 capacity to absorb shocks and adapt to changes.<\/p>\n
