{"id":52462,"date":"2026-05-03T04:43:30","date_gmt":"2026-05-03T04:43:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uomosul.edu.iq\/en\/administrationeconomic\/?p=52462"},"modified":"2026-05-03T04:43:30","modified_gmt":"2026-05-03T04:43:30","slug":"department-of-business-administration-at-the-college-of-administration-and-economics-university-of-mosul-discusses-a-phd-dissertation-on-organizational-diplomacy-and-organizational-embeddedness","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uomosul.edu.iq\/en\/administrationeconomic\/2026\/05\/03\/department-of-business-administration-at-the-college-of-administration-and-economics-university-of-mosul-discusses-a-phd-dissertation-on-organizational-diplomacy-and-organizational-embeddedness\/","title":{"rendered":"Department of Business Administration at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul Discusses a PhD Dissertation on Organizational Diplomacy and Organizational Embeddedness"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul \u2013 Department of Business Administration, held on Tuesday (April 28, 2026), in Discussion Hall No. (1), the defense of a PhD dissertation entitled:<br \/>\n\u201cOrganizational Diplomacy and Its Role in Organizational Embeddedness: The Mediating Role of Perceived Organizational Support \u2013 An Analytical Study of the Opinions of a Sample of Employees in the General Directorate of Education in Nineveh Province\u201d<br \/>\nby the student: Omar Waad Sultan Mahmoud Al-Shammati.<br \/>\nThe dissertation aimed to examine the role of organizational diplomacy as an independent variable, with its dimensions (listening, negotiation, persuasion, and conflict management), in enhancing organizational embeddedness as a dependent variable, with its dimensions (organizational fit, organizational links, and organizational sacrifice), through testing the mediating role of perceived organizational support in the General Directorate of Education in Nineveh.<br \/>\nThe key findings of the study include:<br \/>\nA statistically significant positive correlation and impact between organizational diplomacy and organizational embeddedness.<br \/>\nThe full mediating role of perceived organizational support in strengthening this relationship.<br \/>\nThe contribution of these variables to enhancing employee stability and increasing their levels of commitment within the organization.<br \/>\nThe examination committee consisted of:<br \/>\nProf. Dr. Ma\u2019an Waadallah Jar Allah Al-Ma\u2019adidi \u2013 College of Administration and Economics \/ University of Mosul \u2013 Chair,<br \/>\nAsst.
