The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul \u2013 Department of Economics \u2013 held on Sunday, May 3, 2026, defense of a Master\u2019s thesis in Discussion Hall No. (1), entitled:<\/p>\n

\u201cMeasuring and Analyzing Selected Health Indicators and Their Impact on Economic Growth in Selected Arab Countries for the Period (2000\u20132022)\u201d<\/p>\n

by the student: Nashwan Ibrahim Mohammed Al-Sabawi.<\/p>\n

The study aimed to measure and analyze the relationship between health indicators and economic growth in selected Arab countries, as well as to identify similarities and differences in how these health indicators affect per capita income based on Gross Domestic Product (GDP).<\/p>\n

The key findings of the study include:<\/p>\n

The selection of the Fixed Effects (FE) Panel Model was justified due to its ability to clearly explain the impact of relationships between health and educational variables on economic growth.<\/p>\n

The variable average years of schooling, as a component of human capital, is considered an important control variable that enhances the reliability and accuracy of the results.<\/p>\n
