and Economics, University of Mosul"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jameel, and with the follow-up of the Head of the Department of Business Administration, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Younis Al-Sabawi, the Department of Business Administration at the College of Administration and Economics organized a specialized scientific workshop entitled:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBehavioral Phenomena in Business Organizations: Between Opportunities for Success and Risks of Failure\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The workshop was held on Monday, May 4, 2026, at 12:00 PM in Hall No. (3211) at the department.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Alaa Abdulmawjood Al-Ani, who addressed the most prominent behavioral phenomena resulting from interactions among individuals within the workplace environment, and the extent to which management can employ them positively to enhance organizational success and mitigate their negative impacts.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop covered several key themes, including:<\/p>\n<p>Organizational envy as a factor that may shift from a driver of ambition to a source of conflict.<\/p>\n<p>Workplace gossip as an informal channel for information exchange and emotional influence.<\/p>\n<p>Workplace bullying as a challenge that tests the strength of organizational culture and institutional leadership.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop also emphasized the importance of managing these phenomena through professional approaches, such as transforming envy into positive competition, refining informal communication channels, and reducing bullying behaviors through leadership empowerment and fostering a healthy work environment.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop was attended by a number of faculty members and interested participants and included scientific discussions on organizational behavior and its impact on the success of business organizations and the sustainability of their institutional
