The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, organized a free training course on Thursday, May 7, 2026, entitled: \u201cRenewable Energy and Its Role in Achieving Sustainability in Educational Institutions,\u201d held at the Continuing Education Hall in the college deanship building, with the participation of a number of faculty members and employees.
\nThe course aimed to introduce the concept of renewable energy and its various types, highlight the importance of transitioning toward sustainable energy sources, and explain the possibilities of implementing them within colleges and universities. It also sought to raise awareness about the importance of energy conservation and promoting environmentally sustainable practices within educational institutions.
\nThe lectures were delivered by:

\nAssistant Lecturer Shaimaa Saber Elias
\nAssistant Lecturer Ibtisam Tareq Dabbo
\nThe course included scientific and practical presentations on the role of renewable energy in supporting environmental sustainability and reducing energy waste, in line with the modern universities\u2019 orientation toward adopting concepts of sustainable development and the green economy.
\nThis course comes as part of the efforts of the College of Administration and Economics \/ University of Mosul to support awareness and training programs aimed at enhancing environmental culture and consolidating sustainability concepts within the university community.<\/p>\n
