\u00a0The Department of Economics at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed on Sunday, June 14, 2026, a Master’s thesis titled: “<\/b>Analyzing the Relationship Between Investment in Human Capital and Economic Growth in Selected Countries,” submitted by the student, Shahad Shukr Mahmoud Mohammed Al-Obeidi, in Discussion Hall No. (2).<\/p>\n

\u200bThe study aimed to measure the impact of health expenditure and average years of schooling on economic growth in both the short and long terms, as well as to determine the speed of adjustment and the return to equilibrium in the countries under study, thereby contributing to enhancing the understanding of the role of human capital in achieving economic development.<\/p>\n

\u200bThe results of the study showed that investing in human capital represents one of the fundamental pillars for achieving economic growth, as its role is not limited to being social spending, but rather is an inevitable economic necessity that contributes to raising productivity, enhancing the efficiency of human resources, and supporting sustainable economic development in the long term.<\/p>\n
