The meeting was dedicated to discussing several academic and administrative files that represent core pillars for developing institutional performance and elevating the educational process.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u200bThe council initiated its business by reviewing the administrative and academic directives issued by the Council of the University of Mosul, discussing mechanisms for their implementation in line with the university&#8217;s orientation toward enhancing quality and academic accreditation. Furthermore, the council emphasized the importance of accelerating the completion of the solar energy system and finalizing the power supply for surveillance camera systems, firefighting systems, and night lighting via the solar energy system, thereby contributing to the development of the college&#8217;s infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u200bThe council also discussed a number of important academic files, most notably finishing the development of curricula for both undergraduate and postgraduate studies, and executing specific updates regarding the names of some scientific departments. Additionally, the council stressed compliance with scientific publishing instructions in reputable international repositories and discussed the specific schedule prepared since the beginning of the 2025-2026 academic year regarding tracking each faculty member&#8217;s publication of at least one research paper (during the academic year) in international repositories, provided it is not extracted from scientific theses and dissertations. The council also approved publishing research indexed within the international Scopus repository for doctoral students as a mandatory requirement prior to the discussion of PhD dissertations.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u200bThe meeting touched upon enhancing academic cooperation by activating visiting professor, external examiner, and external lecturer programs, and expanding the scope of joint supervision. This was in addition to following up on the special committee for Science Day awards, monitoring preparations for the central graduation ceremony for the college&#8217;s students scheduled to be held on July 23, 2026, and completing the final phases of developing the website in coordination with the scientific departments.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u200bThe session concluded by discussing the minutes of the scientific departments and making the necessary decisions and recommendations regarding them, within the framework of the college&#8217;s keenness to consolidate a culture of continuous development and enhance integration between academic and administrative aspects, thereby supporting its academic standing and keeping pace with the requirements of quality and excellence in higher
