Within the framework of supporting the intellectual and creative outputs of the college staff and encouraging the cultural movement, the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jamil, received on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, a cultural initiative represented by presenting him with a copy of the literary short story collection “Papers from a Locked Drawer”. The book was published by Mashki House for Printing, Publishing, and Distribution for the year 2026, and authored by the employee Linda Khalid Al-Khaffaf, a staff member at the Department of Marketing Management.<\/p>\n

\u200bThe initiative also included gifting another copy of the book to the Library of the College of Administration and Economics, with the aim of enriching its cultural stock and making this literary work available to researchers and readers among the college staff and students.<\/p>\n

\u200bThe presentation ceremony was attended by the Coordinator of the Marketing Management Department, Assistant Professor Mohammed Ahmed Mahmoud Al-Hamami, and Lecturer Najdat Mustafa Musayab. The Dean expressed his deep appreciation for this initiative, welcoming it and praising the creative efforts that reflect the literary talents of the college staff, while emphasizing the importance of supporting intellectual and cultural talents alongside academic excellence.<\/p>\n

\u200bThe book “Papers from a Locked Drawer” is the second literary publication gifted by the author to the College of Administration and Economics, following her first book “Asfoorat Al-Shajan” (The Bird of Sorrow) which she gifted to the college in 2022, in a step that embodies her continuous cultural contribution and her participation in enriching the literary scene within the university.<\/p>\n
