Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jamil, and under the follow-up of the Head of the Department of Marketing Management, Associate Professor Dr. Bashar Dhakir Al-Qootchi, the Department of Marketing Management organized a scientific lecture hosting visiting professor Associate Professor Dr. Mo’men Ahmed Mahmoud Al-Hamami, a faculty member at Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) in Malaysia, titled:<\/p>\n

“Modern Technology, Artificial Intelligence, and the Reshaping of Contemporary Marketing Thought”<\/p>\n

This took place on Sunday, August 9, 2026, in the Discussion and Meeting Hall of the Department of Marketing Management.<\/p>\n

\u200bThe lecture was attended by the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, Associate Professor Dr. Salem Khalil Khalid, and the Associate Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Abdulrahman Zuhair Abdulqadir, along with a number of faculty members, researchers, postgraduate students, and interested participants.<\/p>\n

\u200bThe visiting professor addressed the key transformations brought about by modern technologies and artificial intelligence in advancing marketing thought and practices, highlighting the latest global trends in leveraging smart applications to support marketing decisions and enhance institutional efficiency in the digital business environment.<\/p>\n

\u200bThis event comes as part of the college’s direction toward strengthening international academic cooperation, embracing global expertise, and fostering a scientific environment aligned with modern technological developments, ultimately reflecting positively on the quality of education and scientific research.<\/p>\n

\u200bFurthermore, this initiative aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) by supporting continuous learning and knowledge transfer, and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by fostering academic collaboration with international universities and institutions.<\/p>\n
