The Department of Marketing Management at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, launched its activities for the 2026\u20132027 academic year by holding the first session of the department council on Tuesday, September 1, 2026. The meeting was chaired by Assistant Professor Dr. Bashar Dhaker Saleh Al-Qootchi, Head of the Department, in the presence of Assistant Professor Mohammed Ahmed Al-Hamami, Department Rapporteur for both morning and evening studies, along with members of the faculty.<\/p>\n

\u200bThe meeting commenced with congratulations extended to the teaching staff on the start of the new academic year. This was followed by a review of the department’s key academic, scientific, and administrative achievements over the past year, alongside a discussion on areas requiring further development to enhance institutional performance quality.<\/p>\n

\u200bThe council discussed the department’s plan for the new academic year and implementation mechanisms aligned with the directives of the College of Administration and Economics and the University of Mosul. It also approved the distribution of teaching loads according to scientific specializations and course requirements, ensuring a smooth and organized educational process.<\/p>\n

\u200bFurthermore, the council emphasized the importance of adhering to the instructions of the University Council and the College Council, completing program accreditation requirements, and preparing all documents and supplies for the upcoming visit of the accreditation committee, reflecting the department’s commitment to quality standards and academic accreditation.<\/p>\n

\u200bThe meeting also stressed the necessity of boosting scientific publishing in reputable international journals and encouraging faculty members to apply for Science Day awards, contributing to highlighting the scientific output of the department and college while consolidating their academic and research standing.<\/p>\n

\u200bThe session concluded with the Head of the Department emphasizing the importance of integrating faculty efforts and working in a spirit of teamwork. This collective approach aims to enhance department performance, elevate educational and research outcomes, and achieve academic goals aligned with the vision of the College of Administration and Economics and the University of Mosul toward institutional excellence.<\/p>\n
