The Department of Economics at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed on Monday, September 21, 2026, a master’s thesis entitled “Measuring and Analyzing the Impact of Tax Revenues on Sustainable Development: A Study of Selected Countries,” presented by the student Afrah Hussein Muhammad Hassan Al-Akaidi, in Discussion Hall No. (1).<\/p>\n

\u200bThe study aimed to measure and analyze the impact of various types of tax revenues on achieving sustainable development, as well as to analyze the nature of the relationship between tax revenues and sustainable development in the countries studied, and to demonstrate how the effects of different types of tax revenues vary among one another.<\/p>\n

\u200bThe study reached several conclusions, most notably that there is variation in the impact of different types of tax revenues on sustainable development across the selected countries. The results also indicated that the impact of tax revenues is more pronounced in the long term compared to the short term, as directing and investing these revenues into sustainable development projects requires a longer period to yield tangible outcomes.<\/p>\n
