Sustainable Development at the University of Mosul – Arid and Conservation Agriculture Research Center:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The International Definition of Sustainable Development:<\/p>\n

According to the Brundtland Commission’s definition in its 1987 report, “Our Common Future,” “Sustainable development is development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.”<\/p>\n

This concept combines economic growth, environmental protection, and social justice, and aims to achieve a balance between these three dimensions.<\/p>\n

The seventeen Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted by the United Nations:<\/strong><\/p>\n
