<\/p>\n\u00a0 The Center for Arid Farming and Conservation Agriculture Research\u2019s (C.AFCAR) \/ University of Mosul continues its training program on conservation agriculture for the second consecutive day, following the remarkable success achieved over the past two agricultural seasons in implementing this modern and sustainable farming approach.<\/p>\n
\u00a0 Today\u2019s Tuesday 4 October 2025 activities were held at the Aiyadiya Agricultural Division and the Tal Afar Agricultural Division, following earlier sessions conducted at the Sinjar Agricultural Division. These efforts come as part of the center\u2019s continuous mission to promote sustainable agricultural practices across Nineveh Province.<\/p>\n
\u00a0 The program was delivered by Professor Dr. Mohammed Subhi Al-Tuwail and\u00a0 Dr. Adnan Abd Ahmed, who provided an in-depth explanation of the importance of conservation agriculture in reducing production costs, optimizing water use under supplemental irrigation systems, and protecting the environment through water harvesting and the retention of crop residues in the field.<\/p>\n
\u00a0 This activity aligns with the university\u2019s vision of \u201cThe University in Service of the Community\u201d and aims to disseminate sustainable agricultural technologies among farmers, contributing to enhanced productivity and long-term resource sustainability.<\/p>\n
