\u00a0\u00a0 The Center for Arid Farming and Conservation Agriculture Researches at the University of Mosul organized a scientific workshop titled “Climate Variability and Its Impact on Iraq” on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. The event was attended by a select group of researchers and agricultural engineers.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 The workshop featured presentations by: Assist. Lecturer Mohammed Fawzi Al-Qattan (Quality Assurance, Presidency of the University of Mosul) Assist. Lecturer Hassan Jamal Al-Bazzaz (College of Environment, University of Mosul) Assistant Agricultural Engineer Dalal Nabil Najm (Staff member at the Center)<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 The workshop addressed the most prominent manifestations of climate variability in Iraq and its effects on the agricultural sector and natural resources. It also included a discussion of possible solutions for adaptation to these changes within the framework of sustainable development.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 The workshop specifically focused on achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 13 (Climate Action). This event is part of a series of scientific activities organized by the Center with the aim of raising environmental awareness.<\/p>\n
