\u00a0\u00a0 The Center for Arid Farming and Conservation Agriculture Research , in collaboration with the Department of Studies and Planning \/ Sustainable Development Unit at the University of Mosul, held a workshop titled \u201cCertification Standards in Potato Seed Production\u201d<\/strong> on Thursday, March 12, 2026. The workshop was under the patronage of Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi and supervised by Mohammed Sobhi Mustafa Al-Tawil.<\/h3>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 The workshop highlighted the importance of applying rigorous certification standards to produce disease-free potato seeds with pure genetic traits, ensuring higher yields, improved crop quality, and supporting food security and sustainable agriculture. Presenters included Mohammed Sobhi Al-Tawil, Moen Mohammed Saleh, and assistant lecturers Amar Habib Mahmoud and Azhar Omar Ali.<\/h3>\n
