\u00a0 \u00a0A recent agricultural experiment was conducted on Thursday, April 23, 2026, to study the effect of biochar on the growth and yield of two yellow corn varieties. The experiment was carried out by Lecturer Thakir J. Dlem and Lecturer Ammar H. Mahmood, aiming to improve crop yield and reduce reliance on chemical fertilizers. The study involved planting two different corn varieties under varying conditions of biochar application, with monitoring of growth and yield indicators. Biochar contributes to improving soil fertility and nutrient use efficiency, thereby reducing the need for chemical fertilizers.
