\u00a0\u00a0 As part of its research and developmental activities aimed at supporting modern agricultural technologies, an agricultural engineering team from the Center for Arid Farming and Conservation Agriculture Research carried out greenhouse covering operations using agricultural shade netting on Wednesday, 13 May 2026. The activity was undertaken with the objective of providing a suitable environment for crop growth and mitigating the adverse effects of high temperatures.<\/h3>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 The work included the installation of shade nets on the metal structures of the greenhouses in accordance with approved technical standards and engineering practices. This contributes to reducing the intensity of solar radiation and improving temperature and humidity conditions within the protected structures, thereby positively enhancing crop quality and increasing water-use efficiency.<\/h3>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 The Center continues its research and field-based efforts in implementing agricultural projects aimed at supporting the agricultural sector, promoting sustainable development, and strengthening food security.<\/h3>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 This activity aims to improve the environmental conditions inside greenhouses by minimizing the impact of elevated temperatures and direct solar radiation, thereby creating favorable conditions for crop growth and enhancing production efficiency.<\/h3>\n
