\u00a0 As part of its ongoing field research activities, the Center for Arid Farming and Conservation Agriculture Research conducted a field visit to the cotton research trial site in the Sheikhan district on Monday, 29 June 2026. The visit aimed to monitor the progress of the experiment and assess the overall condition of the crop as part of the Center\u2019s routine research monitoring program.<\/h3>\n

\u00a0 During the visit, the research team carried out manual weed removal to eliminate unwanted vegetation that had emerged within the experimental field. This operation was undertaken to maintain optimal field conditions and minimize competition between weeds and cotton plants for water, nutrients, and sunlight, thereby providing a favorable environment for crop growth.<\/h3>\n

\u00a0 Manual weed control represents one of the essential agronomic management practices in field experiments, contributing to uniform crop development and ensuring the reliability and accuracy of research outcomes. Such practices support the generation of high-quality scientific data and contribute to the development of improved agronomic recommendations for enhancing cotton productivity in the target regions.<\/h3>\n
