\u00a0 In a scientific achievement reflecting the distinguished research standing of the Center for Arid Farming and Conservation Agriculture Research at the University of Mosul, the Department of Research and Development at the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has selected Professor Dr. Mohammed Subhi Mustafa Al-Taweel, Director of the Center, as a member of the Ministerial Biodiversity Team, in accordance with an official ministerial order issued by the Department.<\/h3>\n

\u00a0 The Ministerial Biodiversity Team is responsible for overseeing the collection and analysis of data related to the indicators of Iraq\u2019s National Biodiversity Targets and contributing to the implementation of the National Biodiversity Strategy, thereby strengthening the country’s efforts to conserve biodiversity and promote sustainable development.<\/h3>\n

\u00a0 Professor Dr. Mohammed Subhi Mustafa Al-Taweel participated in the first meeting of the Ministerial Team, held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, with the attendance of representatives from Iraqi universities and research centers. The meeting focused on discussing the implementation mechanisms of the national biodiversity program and assigning responsibilities among team members.<\/h3>\n
