A Ph.D. thesis was discussed in the Department of Field Crops \/ College of Agriculture and Forestry \/ University of Mosul for the student (Rokan Katgh Issa) on Tuesday, 10\/5\/2022. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Yunus Al-Allaf (Dean of the College) attended a part of the discussion.Thesis title: Response of growth and yield of three barley cultivars to cultivation systems and agricultural residues.Thesis summary: A field experiment was conducted for the agricultural season (2020-2021) to study the response of the growth and yield of three cultivars of barley to farming systems and agricultural waste in two sites (Al-Hamdania and Al-Nimrud), which are located (15 km southeast and 65 km east) of Mosul, respectively. The experiment involved three factors: The first factor (three types of barley); the second factor (three cultivation methods); and the third factor (two levels of agricultural waste; the first level: is without agricultural residues, and the second level is 100% waste).More results are available in the thesis …..The discussion committee consisted of:<\/p>\n
