Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Younis Al-Allaf (Dean of the College of Agriculture and Forestry) and the supervision of Dr. Ammar Jassim Al-Yousef (Head of the Department), the Department of Forestry Sciences held an electronic scientific workshop entitled “International Classification of Wild and Aromatic Plants.” Several Nineveh Agriculture Directorate employees participated in the course.The curriculum of the first day included two lectures, the first by Prof. Dr. Ali Farouk Al-Maadidi entitled “The Most Important Medicinal Plants That Spread Naturally in Iraq.” In contrast, the second lecture was entitled “Methods of Diagnosing Medicinal and Wild Plants” by Dr. Hayes Sayel Zarzis.
