<\/p>\nA master’s thesis was discussed in the Soil Sciences and Water Resources\/ College of Agriculture and Forestry \/ University of Mosul for the student (Shaima Abdul Karim Khadr) on Tuesday, May 7, 2024. Thesis title (Building a Predictive Model for Some Soil Fertility Characteristics Various Agricultural Uses in the Aqra\/Dohuk area). Prof. Dr. Muhammad Younis Al-Allaf (Dean of the College) and Prof. Dr. Ali Farouk Al-Maadidi (Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs ) attended a part of the discussion.
\nThe study aims to estimate some ready-made nutrients in the soil and use the Kriging model for each trait to obtain the distribution of some elements, obtain a map of them, and predict unmeasured values based on that. Developing a mathematical model for each characteristic to evaluate soil fertility based on geographic information systems techniques and chemical and physical soil analyses.
\nThe discussion committee consisted of:
