In an implementation of the directives of Prof. Dr. Qusai Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi (President of Mosul University) to expand the horizons of cooperation and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Younis Al-Allaf (Dean of the College), the Deanship of our College and collaboration with the Department of Research and Studies in the Directorate of Agriculture of Nineveh held a workshop on “the reality of the use of agricultural pesticides in Iraq.” Several lecturers from our college’s Department of Agricultural Economics participated in the workshop.The curriculum of the scientific workshop included the following lectures:1- The effect of pesticide residues on food \/ by Prof. Dr. Alaa Mohamed and Assistant Lecturer Mohamed Hamid Ahmed2- The effect of the use of agricultural pesticides on environmental pollution, Iraq as a model \/ by Prof. Dr. Qais Nazem Ghazal.3- The reality of marketing agricultural pesticides in Nineveh Governorate \/ by Dr. Zuwaid Abd and Mrs. Mahasin Mahmoud4- Problems of expanding the use of pesticides \/ by Dr. Iman Younes5- The safe use of chemical pesticides and safety measures \/ by Ms. Mona Abdel Qader, Ms. Serry Sael, and Dr. Ramia Amer.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
