As part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research's efforts to keep pace with developed countries in education and learning systems, the Bologna Process has been added to several colleges in Iraqi universities. In the 2025-2026 academic year, colleges at the University of Mosul, including the College of Archaeology, were added to the system.
