aria-labelledby=\"toggle_9f0acd1cb2a1b647d\"><div class=\"panel-body toggle-content fusion-clearfix\">\n<p>The Bachelor of Science in Ancient and Islamic Archaeology program is a four-year undergraduate program with a course load of 240 ECTS credits. It aims to prepare graduates with specialized scientific knowledge of the history and antiquities of ancient and Islamic civilizations, while equipping them with the necessary theoretical and practical skills to study, document, analyze, preserve, and manage archaeological sites, buildings, finds, and resources.<\/p>\n<p>The curriculum is divided into eight semesters, with 30 credit hours per semester, according to the attached syllabus. There are common courses in the first and second years, followed by specialized courses in the Ancient and Islamic Archaeology branches in the third and fourth years.<\/p>\n<p>The curriculum integrates history, architecture, arts, archaeological sites and cities, ancient languages \u200b\u200band written sources, along with surveying, excavation, documentation, conservation, restoration, geographic information systems, scientific research, training, and a graduation project. The Ancient Archaeology branch includes courses such as Prehistory, Archaeology of Iraq, Geoarchaeology, Sumerian, Babylonian, and Assyrian Texts, and Excavation Methods. The branch of Islamic antiquities includes Arabic calligraphy, Islamic arts, Islamic architecture, coins, pottery and ceramics, manuscripts, Islamic photography and Islamic
