On Monday, 12\/4\/2023, the College of Archaeology held a workshop entitled (Introducing fresh students to the scientific departments in the College of Archaeology). The workshop was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Yasser Jaber Khalil\/ Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs where he discussed the importance of studying archaeology and the emergence of this science and its development in Iraq in addition to the creation of a distinguished scientific staff which resulted in the establishment of archaeology departments in Iraqi universities including the University of Mosul which later developed into the establishment of a college of Archaeology at the same university indicating the departments and branches of this college and the degrees it awards in the undergraduate and postgraduate studies. The workshop was attended by Dr. Abdul Sattar Ahmed Hussein\/ Head of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit.<\/h3>\n
