Under the guidance and support of the Deanship of the College of Archeology, the Student Activities Division held a chess tournament. The tournament included all departments of the college, including teaching staff, employees, and students of undergraduate and postgraduate studies, with the participation of 18 male and female players. The result of this tournament was:
\nFirst place: student Yaqoub Khalil
\nSecond place: Abdul Rahman Qahtan
\nThird place: Abdullah Ammar. Part of the activity was attended by Professor Dr. Salwa Hazem Al-Mukhtar, Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Mosul. At the conclusion of the tournament, prizes and gifts were distributed to the first three winners and to all participants by Professor Dr. Yasmine Abdel Karim Muhammad Ali, Dean of the College of Archaeology, and Assistant Professor Dr. Yasser Jaber Khalil, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs. Assistant Dean Khalis Abdel Karim, Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, and Dr. Ahmed Sabah, the general referee of the tournament, was honored.
\nThe Student Activities Division also extends its thanks and appreciation to the Deanship of the College for the continued support of the Activities Division in order to raise the name of the College high at the University of Mosul.<\/h3>\n
