The doctoral thesis entitled \u201cThe source in the Akkadian language: a morphological-grammatical study\u201d was discussed in the Department of Ancient Iraqi Languages \u200b\u200bat the College of Archeology, University of Mosul, on Sunday, June 9, 2024. And in the hall of Dr. Behnam Abu Al-Souf.
\nPart of the viva was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Yasser Jaber Khalil, Assistant Dean of the College for Scientific Affairs.
\nThe study presented by the student (Muhammad Khader Abbas Al-Jumaili) aimed to establish the most important episode of the Akkadian language, which is the source of words from which linguistic styles emerged and meanings emerged. It is the foundation of the language and the origin of derivatives, and its importance is linked to understanding the texts of the Akkadian language and its diverse products Oh. The study concluded that the Akkadian language used the infinitive form to denote the event, devoid of time, in the masculine singular form only. The study also concluded that there are some weights that are standard weights that were set in analogy to the infinitive form for which there is no evidence or grammatical examples, and this case It also exists in the Arabic language It was also brought by the Kufan \u200b\u200bgrammarians of the school.
\nThe viva committee was chaired by Professor Dr. Zuhair Diaa Al-Din Saeed, and the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Khaled Haider Othman, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Muharib Ali, Assistant Professor Dr. Ibrahim Hussein Hamad from the University of Kirkuk \/ College of Education for Girls, and Assistant Professor Dr. Rawnaq Jundi Sabri, with supervision and membership.
