The master’s thesis entitled “Animal Abuse and Assault in Hittite Law and Mesopotamian Laws – A Comparative Study” was discussed by student Manal Yahya Ismail from the Civilization Department on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, in Dr. Bahnam Abu Al-Souf Hall. The thesis addressed the relationship between humans and animals since ancient times, when humans began hunting animals in nature for food. Over time, after humans became able to secure their own food due to the decline in hunting, they resorted to domesticating animals to benefit from their economic products.<\/h3>\n
