The master’s thesis entitled: “Lorestan Bronzes: A Semantic and Artistic Study \u2013 Selected Models” was discussed by student Shahd Nour El-Din Yahya from the Department of Civilization on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, in Dr. Bahnam Abu Al-Soof Hall. The thesis dealt with the study of Lorestan bronzes, which are bronze artifacts dating back to the Bronze Age, specifically to the second millennium BC. They were discovered in the Lorestan province in western Iran. These artifacts are distinguished by their artistic and technical beauty and include a variety of weapons, tools, and instruments. The Lorestan bronzes reflect a high level of artistic and technical skill of that era. These artifacts are considered important for understanding the history and culture of the region during the Bronze Age.
