As part of her distinguished international contributions and efforts to build bridges of scientific communication between international universities and institutes, Professor Dr. Nawalah Ahmed Al-Mutawali, a senior professor at the College of Archaeology at the University of Mosul, contributed to the preparation and publication of the fourth volume of the UMCT series in collaboration with Professor Walter Salberger, Director of the Institute of Assyriological and Hittite Studies at the University of Munich. These texts are part of a series of cuneiform texts discovered in the city of Umma (Tell Jokha) in Nasiriyah Governorate. These clay tablets are the product of archaeological excavations conducted by the Iraqi mission of the General Authority for Antiquities and Heritage, headed by Dr. Nawalah Al-Mutawali and Mr. Hamza Shahid, between 1999 and 2002.
\nIt is worth noting that this is not Dr. Nawalah Ahmed Al-Mutawali’s first participation, as she contributed to the preparation of the previous three volumes within the University of Munich’s scientific series collection. This contribution falls within the Sustainable Development Goals: Goal 4: Quality Education, Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals.<\/h3>\n
