The College of Archaeology held a training course entitled \u201cCombating Administrative Corruption\u201d on Wednesday and Thursday, November 26-27, 2025. This course was part of the University of Mosul’s efforts to enhance the efficiency of administrative staff and strengthen their role in combating corruption. The course was presented by Dr. Suzan Marwan Bashir from the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences and Assistant Lecturer Khalis Abdulkarim Farman from the College of Archaeology. The course addressed the phenomenon of administrative corruption as one of the most prominent challenges facing institutions in both the public and private sectors, given its negative impact on institutional performance, public trust, and the achievement of justice. The course aimed to shed light on the definition of administrative corruption, identify its manifestations within the work environment, and present effective means and procedures for preventing and combating it, whether through promoting the values \u200b\u200bof integrity and transparency or activating oversight, legislative, and institutional roles.
