The meeting, held on Monday, May 25, 2026, was chaired by Dr. Turhan Al-Mufti, Advisor to the Prime Minister, and attended by Ruwaid Muwaffaq Al-Layla, Inspector of Antiquities and Heritage in Nineveh, and Engineer Suha Wajih Al-Anaz, Assistant Director of Urban Planning, along with representatives from the Nineveh Governorate, the Nineveh Investment Authority, and the Mosul Municipality. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss ways to organize the management of the Old City and preserve its historical and cultural identity.<\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center\">The meeting addressed several technical and administrative aspects related to the management of the Old City of Mosul, primarily establishing organizational foundations that contribute to protecting the historical urban fabric and preserving the city&#8217;s authentic cultural and architectural identity.
