Mahmoud Saleh Ismail<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Professor Dr. Mahmoud Saleh Ismail obtained a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Arabic Language\/College of Arts\/University of Mosul on 6\/20\/1975 and obtained a Higher Diploma in Libraries and Information from University from Leeds\/England on 12\/6\/1981 and then a Master\u2019s degree in Libraries and Information from \u00a0University of Leeds\/England on 1\/6\/1983 and Ph.D\/\u00a0 in Information and Libraries\/College of Arts\/Mustansiriya University on4\/10\/1996. Dr. Mahmoud Saleh Ismail is considered one of the<\/p>\n<p>founders of the Department of Information and Knowledge Technologies in the University of Mosul:<\/p>\n<p>Positions he held<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Director of Technical Services at the Central Library of the University of Mosul.<\/li>\n<li>Information Officer at the Central Library of the University of Mosul<\/li>\n<li>Head of the Department of Information and Libraries\/College of Arts\/University of Mosul for the period from 1996-2009<\/li>\n<li>Editor-in-Chief of Adab Al-Rafidain Magazine since 1996-2009<\/li>\n<li>Member of the University of Mosul Council 2007 &#8211; 2009<\/li>\n<li>Member of the Board of Directors of Ibn Al-Atheer Printing and Publishing House, affiliated with the University of Mosul, 2009-2013<\/li>\n<li>Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Central Library of the University of Mosul 2009-2014<\/li>\n<li>Member of the Quality Assurance Council at the University of Mosul 2009-2013<\/li>\n<li>Member of the Teaching Aptitude Test Committee at the University of Mosul 2009-2017<\/li>\n<li>Editor-in-Chief of Al-Rafidain Arts Magazine 2012 &#8211; 2014<\/li>\n<li>Head of the Information and Libraries Department at the University of Mosul 2013 &#8211; 2018<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #339966\"><strong>Prof. Mahmoud Girgis Muhammad<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Assistant Professor Mahmoud Girgis Muhammad obtained a bachelor\u2019s degree in English language in 1974 from the University of Mosul and a master\u2019s degree in libraries and information management from the University of Denver &#8211; the United States in . \u00a0He is considered one of the founders of the Department of Information and Knowledge Technologies \/ University of Mosul. The positions he held are<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Librarian of the College of Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Assistant Secretary General of the Central Library \/ University of Mosul.<\/li>\n<li>Secretary General of the Central Library \/ University of Mosul.<\/li>\n<li>Rapporteur of the Department of Libraries and Information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #339966\"><strong>Prof. Dr. Muayad Qasim Al-Khafaf<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The assistant professor obtained a bachelor\u2019s degree from the University of Baghdad\/College of Arts \/Department of Mass Communication\/1969, a diploma in information documentation\/ Hungary in 1974, and a master\u2019s degree from Cairo University\/College of Mass Communications\/1979. As for his doctorate, he obtained it from the University of Baghdad\/College of Arts \/Department Media\/1998, as for the positions he held:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Director of Media Research and Studies\/1982<\/li>\n<li>Editorial secretary of a scientific journal (Science)\/1985<\/li>\n<li>Editorial secretary of Al-I&#8217;lam newspaper, which is published by the Department of Media at the College of Arts \/University of Baghdad<\/li>\n<li>Rapporteur of the Media Department for years and participant in the department\u2019s committees and activities<\/li>\n<li>Former rapporteur of the Scientific Committee in the Department of Mass Communication and currently the Faculty of Mass Communication for several years.<\/li>\n<li>Information expert at the Media Documentation Center for the Arab Gulf States in 1981.<\/li>\n<li>Information expert in Iraqi newspapers in 1975. He worked in charge of the archives department at the Iraqi News Agency and Al-Jumhuriya newspaper.<\/li>\n<li>Head of the Journalism Department at the College of Information University of Baghdad from 2002 to 2004.<\/li>\n<li>Teaching in the Department of Information and Knowledge Technologies \/ University of Mosul.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #339966\"><strong>Prof. Mr. Saad Ahmed Ismail<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Assistant Professor Saad Ahmed Ismail obtained a bachelor\u2019s degree in English language from the University of Mosul (1973\/1974) and the Master\u2019s degree in library and information science from the University of Denver, the United States of America in 1980. . He is also considered one of the founders of the Department of Information and Knowledge Technologies \/ University of Mosul. He performed the following tasks:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lecturer in the Libraries Department at the Technical Institute in Mosul 1988-1998.<\/li>\n<li>Lecturer in the Department of Information and Libraries\/College of Arts \/University of Mosul 1995.<\/li>\n<li>Member of the Iraqi Society for Libraries and Information.<\/li>\n<li>Member of the Scientific \u00a0Committee in the department.<\/li>\n<li>Member of the Graduate Studies Committee.<\/li>\n<li>Member of the editorial board of Al -Rafidain Literature Magazine.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #339966\"><strong>Dr . Ammar Abdel Latif Zein El Abidine<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Professor Dr. Ammar Abdul Latif Zain Al-Abidin obtained a technical diploma from the Administrative Technical Institute \/ Mosul in 1991, a bachelor\u2019s degree in libraries and information from Al-Mustansiriya University \/ Baghdad in 1996, a master\u2019s degree in information and libraries from Al-Mustansiriya University \/ Baghdad in 2002, and a doctorate in information and libraries.
