Sustainable<\/span> development<\/span>– Poverty<\/span> Eradication<\/span> Poverty<\/span> Eradication<\/span> The eradication of poverty<\/span> in all its forms (the first goal of the sustainable development goals) is the cornerstone for achieving social justice and economic stability in Iraq.<\/span> Achieving<\/span> this<\/span> goal<\/span> requires<\/span> building<\/span> strong<\/span> social<\/span> safety<\/span> nets<\/span> and providing<\/span> equal<\/span> economic<\/span> opportunities<\/span> to empower<\/span> the<\/span> most vulnerable<\/span> groups<\/span> through sustainable development management to ensure a decent life for all.<\/span>
\nThe Department of History organizes<\/span> a scientific<\/span> workshop<\/span> on<\/span> the economic and social dimensions<\/span> of industrial development.<\/span>
\nUnder the supervision<\/span> of<\/span> the dean of the Faculty of Arts, Dr.<\/span> Hatem<\/span> Fahd<\/span> hinou<\/span> al-Taie<\/span>, and in cooperation with<\/span> the continuing<\/span> education<\/span> unit<\/span>, the history department at the Faculty of Arts organized<\/span> a scientific<\/span> workshop<\/span> entitled<\/span> “Economic and social dimensions<\/span> of industrial<\/span> development<\/span> throughout<\/span> history<\/span> and its impact<\/span> on<\/span> the fight<\/span> against poverty<\/span> and hunger”<\/span>, on Tuesday<\/span>, 10\/2\/2026.<\/span> The workshop witnessed the participation of a group of professors of the department, and dealt with multiple axes that shed light on industrial transformations through the ages, their economic and social repercussions, and their role in reducing the phenomena of poverty and hunger, with scientific discussions that enriched the axes of the workshop and contributed to enhancing academic awareness among the attendees.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
