A master thesis entitled (The Psychological and Social Effects Stemming from Medical Errors- A Field Study in the City of Erbil) was discussed on September 31, 2023, with the attendance of a number of the department instructors as well as postgraduate students. The thesis, presented by Rigna Abdullah Mohammed Ameen, addressed the medical profession as one of the most ancient professions practiced by humans over the ages. Those who practice the profession, are required to respect peoples\u2019 privacy and dignity in addition to maintaining their lives and safety, as the profession imposes an ethical and humanistic duty. However, the widespread of the intentional and unintentional medical errors in the Iraqi society, especially in the city of Erbil, has led the researcher to investigate the psychological and social effects stemming from those errors on sample subjects using a scientific and analytical study.
