The Department of Arabic Language at the College of Arts, the University of Mosul discussed the master’s thesis entitled (The rhetorical term in the book Qalaid Al-Thahab Fi ‘Elm Al-Adab by Al-Aksar Khoos Yuhana Al-Hadad), on Monday, September 11th, 2023, part of which was attended by a number of faculty teachers and postgraduate students.
\nThe study, presented by Mohammed Ramadan Hussein Al-Salamy, addressed the rhetorical term in the book of (Qalaid Al-Thahab Fi Elm Al-Adab) by Al-Aksar Khoos Yuhana Al-Hadad. The study included defining the term Linguistically and idiomatically, tracing the term historically, and reviewing the majority of the definitions of the scientists for it in the past. The researcher took a descriptive approach and noted to what he found worth standing at and needs a clarification and observation. The researcher then adopted the definition upon which the modern rhetoricians agreeed, who relied on the trusted scientists in this science. Finally, the definition of the author was cited while reviewing the evidence he mentioned for these terms followed by analysis of the position of the witness in them.
