The Department of Arabic Language at the College of Arts\/ Mosul University discussed a master’s thesis entitled (The Rhetoric of Sufficiency in the Sahihs of Al-Bukhari and Muslim) on Thursday, September 14th, 2023, and the discussion was attended by a number of faculty teachers as well as postgraduate students.
\nThe thesis, submitted by Ahmed Azzam Khalil Al-Herbawi, at the Department of Arabic Language, dealt with the definition of the rhetorical term linguistically and idiomatically, followed by the statement of the rhetorical value, as well as the impact that sufficiency constitutes in the performance of meanings, in addition to the rhetorical jokes intended through sufficiency. The researcher adopted the style of rhetorical analysis in the statement of sufficiency in Sahih al-Bukhari\u00a0and\u00a0Sahih Muslim.
