A master\u2019s thesis entitled: (The Effectiveness of the Image in the Collection of Ibn Hazm Al-Andalusi (d.456 AH)), on Monday, September 18th, 2023 with the attendance of a number of the Department teachers as well as postgraduate students.
\nThe thesis, submitted Ibtihal Mohsen Ahmed Ali, at the Department of Arabic Language dealt with the image in poetry as it represents the clearest artistic component that gives poetry its poetic sense. The image gained its importance through its function in the creative achievement. According to Ibn Hazm Al-Andalusi, the image came to have multiple dimensions showing his poetic texture, which was characterized by the multiplicity and diversity of images. The study followed a descriptive and analytical approach in approaching poetic texts, and showed visible samples of the images included in his poems.
