\nToday, Sunday, October 1st, 2023, the Orientalist Studies Unit, in cooperation with the Department of History at the College of Arts, University of Mosul, and the Mosul Studies Center, held a scientific lecture entitled (The Reality of Orientalist Studies among Postgraduate Students)
\nThe lecture aimed to present brief practical observations on the reality of postgraduate studies with regard to Orientalism, and to provide guidance that help students in dealing with Orientalist topics, while drawing attention to the nature of Orientalist studies in general, the specificity of its discourse, the diversity of its sources, and ways to avoid methodological and procedural errors when dealing with such proposals.<\/p>\n
