A Joint Scientific Symposium<\/p>\n

The College of Arts, in cooperation with the Ninawa Education Directorate, held a joint symposium on dropping-out phenomena and ways to cope with the phenomenon.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at Ibn-Al-Athir Hall, College of Arts. The workshop was attended by Prof. Dr. Mohammad Ali Mohammad Afeen, the dean of the college, Mister Khalid Meslit, the General Director of the Ninawa Education Directorate, and many professors from the college and teachers and officials from the Directorate.<\/p>\n

The workshop was an opportunity to build bridges of cooperation between the education system and the university system. Laying down programmes was discussed which will encourage qualified students to take on their appropriate role in society as an important element in developing and constructing it.<\/p>\n

During the workshop, light was shed on the dropping-out phenomenon and ways to cope with it after diagnosing its causes and setting up remedies by a corporation between the Ninawa Education Directorate and the University of Mosul.<\/p>\n
