The Department of Sociology at the College of Arts at the University of Mosul discussed the Higher Diploma Thesis\/Social Ladder. Equivalent to a Master’s degree. Tagged (Sports culture and its role in promoting societal peace – a field study in the city of Mosul), on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, with the attendance of a number of college professors and graduate students attended.
\nThe thesis submitted by the student (Aws Zuhair Ahmed) addressed the importance of sports culture and its role in strengthening the foundations of societal peace in the city of Mosul. Besides, the thesis addressed the extent of awareness of young people who practice and do not practice sports regarding the importance of this vital human activity in supporting and consolidating the elements of societal peace.
